Interesting Information

I would rate this book a 3.5. Although I do not believe this is her best work, it does provide some insightful information. Concerning how often the main stream media portrays one party in a good light as opposed to the bad press they trend to air for the opposition. This just recently was verified by Center for Media and Public Affairs. I am not a big fan of conservatisms and liberals are so far out of touch with reality they have no appeal at all. As far as politicians and those supporters engaged in the type of activities that where discussed in this book, they and the head of their organizations need to be held accountable. This should apply to both parties. One thing both parties need to do is shed the excess baggage of their lunatic fringe and get back to business. That business is the American people, not special interest groups, not hyphenated Americans, not the whimsical ideas of the so called "Social Elites". Frankly our political parties need to stop scheming on how to get into power, distorting laws to their own benefit and start studying history, applying the will of the people, (the majority of the peoples views), to the laws that they where elected to support.
Concerning college professors their job is to instruct their students in the courses that they where paid to teach. If I wanted to be party to their political views I would enroll in a class on political psychopaths. As far as college students that are active in protests and political rallies. Although I applaud your involvement in this countries governing process understand this is a time for you to learn. Just because you have a right to free speech doesn't mean you should. Shut your mouths, stop parroting the mad ravings of self-righteous professors, open your ears and engage your brains. If you do then you will do something that is truly rare in academia today, you will learn. You will learn to form your own views and opinions on the events that surround us. In doing so you might find that the truth lies somewhere closer to the middle.
